Fused spinel is a high purity magnesia-alumina spinel grain, which is produced by fusing high purity magnesia and alumina in an exlectric arc furnace. After solidification and cooling, it is crushed and graded to desired sizes. It is one of the most resistant refractory compounds. Having a low thermal working temperature, are outstanding in high refractoriness, thermal stability and chemical stability, magnesia-alumina spinel is a highly recommended refractory raw material. Its excellent characteristics such as nice color and appearance, high bulk density, strong resistance to exfoliation and stable resistance to thermal shock, which enable the product to be widely used in rotary kilns, the roof of electric furnaces iron and steel smelting, cement rotary kiln, glass furnace and metallurgical industries etc.
