Prodcut Name:Ceramic Proppant

Product Description

Ceramic proppant also known as ceramic sand and hydraulic fracturing sand, which is used in fracturing operations in oil and gas wells to increase the production. It is high strength proppant that allow effective hydraulic fracturing under the hostile conditions. Proppants are spherical ceramic beads made of natural bauxite materials, which are fired at very high temperatures enabling them to maintain their integrity under high temperature and closure stress.

In the process of hydraulic fracturing, fluids with great pressures are pumped down a well to create fractures in the hydrocarbon-bearing rock formation. Proppants, a granular formed material is transported in the fluid to fill this fracture to keep the fracture "propping" open after high-pressure pumping stops. The fracture filled with ceramic proppants creates a permeable channel through which the hydrocarbons can flow more freely. Ceramic Proppants are used in both oil and gas wells' exploration of low-permeability fracturing and in the construction of deep well fracturing.

According to the anti-crushing strength, Ceramic Proppant is divided into 52Mpa, 69Mpa, 86Mpa,and 103Mpa three series, according to bulk density, Ceramic Proppant is divided into: low-density, medium density, high-density. Specifications of Ceramic Proppant are: 12-18 mesh, 12-20 mesh, 16-20 mesh, 16-30 mesh, 20-40 mesh between 30-50 mesh, 40-60 mesh, 40-70 mesh and so on.

Ceramic Proppant can not only increase the oil and gas production output, but also extend the oil and gas wells' length of service. Benefits of Ceramic Proppant are: fracture conductivity to moderate depths, ideal for oil/gas reserves; moderately permeable wells with closure stresses; conductivity in deep and hostile downhole environments.
